I read and answered something on Twitter yesterday and I’m going to share
it here.
Q. “Writers, do
you know how to create "moments" so you don't bore your readers?”
A. Meaning? “The
Tamanawis spirit waits like a black leopard on the highest plateau of the Neah
Bay village. Throbbing beats pulsate in its throat in anticipation for a victim
to call upon its name. Tamanawis lingers and glances ever so slyly toward the
village ready to pounce: like a scorpion’s tail would strike, filling its
unfortunate target with poison.
I think that is
what the writer meant! What do you think? Is my ANSWER written as a moment?
