Cards & Phone Messages

I had a normal day at work today. After I completed my shift at Big Salmon Fishing Resort, I checked mail. Much to my surprise I received a handwritten card. It was my fifth card that I've opened from a grateful customer. It was a “thank you” card, for writing my book, Joseph and the Tamanawis Spirit. Truly I appreciate each card.

A month ago, a reader left me a cell phone message. He said, “The book fell into my hands, and I think your message is great.” I'm happy that people find it an interesting read.

It's hard to say...But some people try to pull you down. Don't listen, go forward, and fulfill a dream. Don't let someone tell you, "You can do that." I'm not a graduate from a college or have taken writing classes. I'm just a person that pressed forward with something, and completed a task.

My book is something; I'll always have as an accomplishment.

P.S. Keep the cards and calls coming, it's very much appreciated!
This winter I'm going to work on the second book :)

Hard Back Books-NEXT

As you may know, your contract called for the release of the paperback book into distribution, and until recently, a 1000 book purchase from the author had been required to release a hardcover version of your book into distribution (Amazon, bookstores, bn.com, etc.).

But now we have great news, and we can release the hardcover into distribution without the minimum purchase of 1000 hardcover copies! If you are interested in finding out how you can have your book released as a hardcover version into distribution, please contact me. I have a couple of different options we can discuss to make sure both the hardcover and softcover versions become available, and I'll be glad to discuss the details with you.

You can get the hardcover into distribution one of two ways. Pay a one-time $500 distribution fee. OR order 250 copies (they can be soft or hard cover or a mix) and we will put your hardcover into distribution for free.

This is my next step! Hard Cover, that is something that I like in a book.
Please place an order to help me get the book into DISTRIBUTION for free.

My Email is dawnleelawrence@gmail.com

After the hard cover, I'm going to start working on the second book. So help me out by placing an order today!

Shoalwater Bay

I was honored; to have my husband Joey and my son Anthony accompany me to Shoalwater Bay. Thank you to my Brother-In-Law and councilman Michael J. Lawrence for allowing us to borrow his Indian Song! Anthony danced and Joey and I sang, it was hard but we did okay.

I met a wonderful lady named Linda R. Rose. I left feeling as if I met a new friend. Linda you are a great host and I truly appreciate all that you did to make the reading a success. Take care.

Also I had one tribal leader attend my reading his name is Tom G. Anderson. Thank you, it was nice to have met you and the young lady who came with you. I was proud that she asked me about Makah Whaling. Young people don't know it but they truly can lead us adults. The young lady was about 15 or 16 years of age. She said, "Her class was being taught about the Makah whaling." I hope that her school teacher shares both sides of the story.

Linda R. Rose also informed me that I should be paid to do book reading parties. So I'm going to take her advice and start charging for my services. Thank you Linda for the kind words, "You have a great story to share. And YES you should be paid for your services."
